                                                          JUST AS WE ARE PROJECT

This photo exhibit is a collective work of the artist illustrating a collection of images exhibited depicting the lives of people of the Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transsexuals Community (“LGBT”).  An expression uplifting the visual life imagery of LGBT individuals who have impacted the world we live in. These visual images will show LGBT’s of all walks of life outside of what mainstream America views as the typical characterists of people that is define as living alternate life styles.

The artistic imagery is an educational project showing images of people like you and me.  Surprisingly, these people are all gay/lesbian/bisexual/transsexual. Comfortable as they are, we (“the society”) don’t view LGBT’s as so. Society should acknowledge the impact they have made in our lives and in our society as well.  Ordinary people, some famous, or recognizable as you will read in the attached bio’s.  LGBT’s are not social outcast, but hardworking contributors in this life and the world.

We wake up everyday and never really realize this because what LGBT’s have contribute and made our world comfortable and easy to live in an we can’t live without it.  This is who they are and this is what they have to offer.”  Charlie T.

“We are all human. We cannot become anything greater than human beings, but we can shine with humanism just as we are.”    Daisaku and Kaneko Ikeda- SGI President and wife
